We are proud to be celebrating 10 years of being a Which? Trusted Trader this September!
To become a Which? Trusted Trader, an organisation must undergo a rigorous assessment and checks to ensure that they meet the high standards that Which? expect.
Not just anyone can become endorsed. Every year several companies won’t meet the standards required by Which?, resulting in their application being unsuccessful.
The application process includes:
- A thorough examination of business and administrative procedures, including insurance and financial checks.
- DBS checks – ensuring no business is run by someone with a criminal background.
- Customer satisfaction – obtaining references from previous customers.
A company can also lose their endorsement if they no longer comply with Which?’s requirements.
The Which? Trusted Trader Endorsement Scheme
The endorsement scheme officially launched 11 years ago in 2013, when Which? invited 18 businesses to trial the assessment process.
In 2014 it expanded to allow additional companies to apply for Which? Trusted Trader status and, as a company who always aim to provide a high-quality product and customer service, we jumped at the opportunity to become a Which? Trusted Trader.
Since becoming a Which? Trusted Trader in 2014, we (The Sash Window Workshop) are proud to have won the Which? Trusted Trader of the Month award twice.
This is an award which highlights the very best of Which? Trusted Traders. Any Which? Trusted Trader can enter for this award, although you can only enter the award once in any 12-month period.
