Established in 1994, The Sash Window Workshop is a premium manufacturer and installer of traditional timber windows and doors in London and the South of England. We also offer a supply only service for the rest of the UK and a repairs service for wooden windows in London and the South.

We offer a full range of wooden window services. Operating out of our factory in Berkshire, we manufacture and provide installation of secondary double glazing, new sashes into existing frames (replacing just the moving parts) and complete new sash windows, wooden casement windows, timber French doors, Front doors, Stable doors, Sliding doors and Bi-fold doors. Our repair services comprising draught sealing and minor repairs.

The majority of our replacement timber windows and doors are double glazed. However, we can also manufacture single glazed, or use our heritage glazing, where double glazing is unlikely to be approved (listed buildings and some conservation areas). All our new windows and doors come fully factory finished and are draught proofed.

All our new wood windows and doors are bespoke and made to meet your individual requirements. We use a timber called Accoya^TM, which is selected for its durability and stability. We offer a variety of different glass and ironmongery options. Our replacement windows and doors are made and installed to provide a high quality performance and be energy efficient. All our work comes with extensive guarantees, including a 50 year anti-rot guarantee for new windows and doors made in Accoya^TM.

Our new wooden box sash windows are manufactured at our workshop in Berkshire by our experienced team of tradesmen to high standards and comply to European manufacturing quality standard EN 14351. They all come with extensive guarantees.

Timber Doors

Designed to be in keeping with your home, our wooden doors are made to order by our craftsmen to individual designs, agreed with you before manufacture. We can exactly match the detail of any existing Bi-fold door, French door or Front timber door if required.
