We are delighted to announce that we were successful in winning the Process and Resource Efficiency Award at the 2022 British Woodworking Federation (BWF) Awards last Friday!
We entered our project to reduce our carbon emissions following our successful achievement of Carbon Neutral Plus status. We believe we are the first timber window company in the UK to become Carbon Neutral Plus.
Our application centred around how we had improved our sustainability and reduced our carbon footprint despite growing our manufacturing capability.
The applications were initially narrowed down to three finalists, with the judges then picking a winner which was announced on the night.
The award ceremony was held at Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel in London and was attended by members and guests of the British Woodworking Federation.
Our Managing Director, Richard Dollar, commented:
“We are delighted to have won the BWF Process and Resource Efficiency Award, reflecting our hard work to reduce and offset our carbon emissions. We believe it is incredibly important to be an environmentally responsible company and continue to strive to reduce our emissions.”
The award is the second award that we have won in recent years, having previously won the Which? Trusted Trader of the Month award in November 2021.
