As we approach the end of another successful year at The Sash Window Workshop, we would like to wish all our customers, suppliers, and employees a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
As always towards the end of the year, we look back on the growth of the business and the changes made over the last 12 months…
Reviewing a Successful 2023
2023 has been a very busy year for us, as we continue to grow. Over this year we have manufactured, installed, and repaired around £11 million worth of timber windows and doors.
Towards the start of 2023 we celebrated winning the Which? Trusted Trader of the Month award for the second time.
In June, we launched our new contemporary range for builders, contractors, and architects, providing a more ‘standardised’ option for large renovation projects not requiring bespoke windows and doors.
Sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint continues to be something that we focus on as a business. We were proud when our latest review of our carbon emissions showed that we successfully reduced our carbon emissions again (per £ million turnover).
We also continue to support local and national charities, including sponsoring one of our business contacts for their trek in the French Alps to raise money for CoppaFeel and supporting the Thatcham charity, Swings and Smiles. We have also supported the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Turkey-Syria Earthquake appeal and Humanitet.
Over the Christmas period, employees are being asked to donate non-perishable items and give money, which the company will match, to Bracknell foodbank. The Sash Window Workshop will also be continuing to support Crisis at Christmas.
