Having worked with Period Living magazine for over 17 years, we are proud to be sponsoring this year’s reader award. The Period Living Reader Awards started in 2013 and recognise the skills and talents of sympathetically restoring older homes.
At The Sash Window Workshop, we understand the additional challenges and the high level of attention to detail required to sympathetically replace or upgrade traditional timber windows and doors in period properties.
The winner of this year’s Period Living Home of the Year award will be awarded a £1,000 cash prize and will receive a year’s free subscription to Period Living magazine. Runners-up will win a year’s free subscription to Period Living magazine.
Having previous sponsored the listed property category within the awards, this year all period properties will be going up against each other for the one big prize.
Previous winners of the Home of the Year award have included the renovation of an early 17th Century Grade II listed mill house and work carried out on an 18th Century farmhouse.
Anyone in Great Britain who has carried out renovation work on their period property can enter, with the winner and runner-up being announced in the November issue of the magazine. The deadline to enter is the 5th June 2023.
