In the light of the current Coronavirus restrictions, we wanted to reassure you that we are “open for business”.
The Government has made it clear that the construction and manufacturing industries should continue, allowing us to continue manufacturing our windows and doors at our workshop in Bracknell, Berkshire.
The Government have also confirmed that, so long as COVID procedures are followed, we are still permitted to work in customers’ homes.
At The Sash Window Workshop we are proud to have always invested heavily in the appropriate training and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required to enable our employees to safely carry out their work. Having reviewed the current guidelines, our intention is to carry on trading “as normal” in a COVID secure way.
The safety of our colleagues and customers is paramount. We are complying with the latest government guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19, with all employees having bi-weekly COVID tests. All employees have also received a copy of the company’s updated risk assessment regarding safe working on company premises and in customers’ homes. We will do our very best to meet all our existing scheduled installation, sales and survey appointments, so unless we contact you directly, please be reassured that we intend to come on the date agreed.
We are confident that the measures we are already taking ensure that our colleagues and customers are COVID secure.
If for any COVID related reason you cannot have us at your home, or you need to make special arrangements, please let us know as soon as possible.
If any of the guidelines change, which contradict this approach, we will of course revisit this.
