The Sash Window Workshop is proud to announce that we are now members of the Wood Window Alliance and British Woodworking Federation.
The Wood Window Alliance is part of the British Woodworking Federation, the trade association for the woodworking and joinery manufacturing industry in the UK, and was formed by a group of manufacturers supplying timber based windows and doors in the UK and Ireland to:
- Promote the advantages of timber windows and doors;
- Offer a quality benchmark for performance, service life and sustainability;
- Set industry standards for quality timber-based windows and doors.
As a condition of membership, manufacturers must meet independently verified quality, performance, and sustainability criteria. Membership and performance auditing are then reviewed annually.
