The Sash Window Workshop Awarded ‘Made in Britain’ Marque

The Sash Window Workshop is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Made in Britain Marque.

The Made in Britain Marque enables consumers to identify British made products, which in turn supports and promotes British manufacturing in the UK and overseas. The marque is awarded by the governing body, Made in Great Britain Campaign Ltd.

The Made in Britain campaign was developed in 2011 to offer consumers peace of mind when buying goods in the UK and overseas. The organisation sets the standards for who can be a part of the campaign by ensuring that “the majority of production/ manufacturing process must have taken place in the UK.”

By manufacturing all our windows and doors in Britain, it not only supports our economy but ensures greater quality control, shorter lead times, more flexibility, more cost effective and an opportunity to see how the product is made here in our factory.

Richard Dollar, MD of The Sash Window Workshop, says: “We are very excited to be able to display the Made in Britain marque, as it shows that we are dedicated to supporting British trade, and are committed to providing quality craftsmanship.”
