Replacement Energy-Efficient Timber Windows in Berkshire
Case study: New traditional timber windows for a beautiful family home in Berkshire
We were contacted to replace several windows in a period property in Berkshire. The new windows needed to improve energy efficiency while preserving the traditional design of the original windows.
On inspection, the frames were found to still be in good condition, so a quote was provided to predominantly replace the sashes while keeping the existing window frames.
After receiving a quotation, the customer visited our manufacturing facilities in Bracknell to view the quality of our new joinery. They were impressed with what they saw and decided to proceed with placing their order.
Timber windows that are designed to last
The new windows were made using Accoya, which is known for its high stability, durability, and 50-year anti-rot guarantee. Low-e double-glazing was used, and the windows were draught-proofed to improve energy efficiency.
In total, 14 sets of windows had new sashes installed into the existing window frames, and one casement window was completely replaced.
After the windows were manufactured and installed by our expert team, the customer commented that the “windows look great”.
