Paint
We work closely with our paint suppliers to ensure a high-quality finish for our windows and doors.
Paint Finish on our Timber Windows and Doors
Our standard paint has been chosen to produce a high quality finish for your windows and doors.
We take great pride in the paint finish on our windows and doors. All our new windows and doors have at least three factory-applied coats of paint, comprising basecoat primer, undercoat, and a semi-gloss topcoat finish.
We can match any colour that you require
We can match any colour that you require using our durable spray paint finish. Alternatively we can use the paint that you would like and apply a hand finish, but please note that this will be more costly. We have worked to many different specifications, including the Crown Estate and other London borough specifications. We understand how important it is to keep to these strict specifications in these areas.
High-quality paint finish
The correct application of paint is a far more difficult operation than most people realise.
We monitor standards within our paint shop very carefully, regularly checking wet and dry film thicknesses, humidity and temperature levels, and drying times, to make sure we achieve the best possible finish.
The quality of the finish is extremely important, not only aesthetically but also for the durability of our timber windows and doors.
Please note, there are some finishes that we are unable to achieve, such as a very high gloss “Downing Street” black door. Your sales surveyor will be able to advise you.
