Our refurbishment products are excellent quality and value, but we will only recommend them to you if we believe they represent a good long term investment. If your windows or doors are beyond repair we will always recommend partial or full replacement.

draught sealingDRAUGHT SEALING

The Sash Window Workshop’s draught sealing and overhaul service is designed to bring new life to any window and will dramatically improve window and door performance at a fraction of the cost of replacement. We will bring your old windows into the 21st century, whilst retaining the aesthetic character and charm of your home.

The gaps around a typical single sash window can add up to the equivalent of 6 square inches. Without draught sealing, draughts, dust, dirt and noise all flood into your home and heat rushes out, leaving you feeling uncomfortable as well as costing you money.
We can draught seal and repair:

At the same time as carrying out draught sealing work, we repair any damaged timber or glazing as well as fitting new ironmongery and locks.

ReglazingDOUBLE & REGLAZING USING BI-GLASS

The process is simple. We remove your existing window or French door, remove the existing glass, re-glaze with either a single or double glazed unit, draught seal it, and re-fit. All the work is carried out at your home in one of our customized Bi-Glass vans, This service is speedy, efficient and about two thirds of the cost of manufacturing new windows or doors.
The Sash Window Workshop is the only company in the UK to use the unique Bi-Glass system for double glazing and reglazing of existing windows and doors.

The Bi-Glass system is not confined to double glazing. It can be used to re-glaze any type of glass to most windows and doors, subject to inspection. For more information click on glazing.
