At The Sash Window Workshop we have over 20 years’ experience working on timber windows in period properties. To help preserve the architectural heritage of local areas, many of the period properties we work on are located in conservation areas.

If you live in a conservation area you will need to ensure that any replacement sash windows or casement windows are in keeping with the property and the local area. Depending whether your property is under Article 4 Preservation you may need to obtain planning permission before replacing the window.
