Situated on the Bakerloo line, Warwick Avenue tube station opened in 1915 and is located in the London area of Maida Vale.

Warwick Avenue is surrounded by large late Victorian and Edwardian blocks of mansion flats. The area has had a number of notable residents, including Alan Turing, code-breaker and pioneer of computer science, and Ambrose Fleming, English electrical engineer and physicist.

Holloway Road advertHolloway Road, London

Situated on the Piccadilly line, Holloway Road tube station opened in 1906 and is located in the Islington area of London.

The Holloway Road tube station building is Grade II listed and was designed by Leslie Green for the Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway. The station was built adjacent to the site of the former Holloway and Caledonian Road railway station, which was closed in 1915.

The Holloway area experienced rapid growth in the Victorian era and is surrounded by a number of Victorian houses.
