With Christmas Day only a week away, we would like to wish all our customers, suppliers, and employees a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Reviewing a successful 2024
As we reach the end of the year, we like to look back on the success of the last 12 months, where we have once again sold, manufactured, installed, and repaired around £11 million worth of timber windows and doors.
2024 saw us celebrate 30 years of The Sash Window Workshop, with an event at Lord’s Cricket Ground for some of our longstanding trade customers, suppliers, and a selection of past and present employees. Employees were also invited to attend a race meeting at Windsor Racecourse as part of our celebrations.
We also used the opportunity to celebrate some of our longstanding employees, reminding ourselves how the business has grown over the last 30 years by reminiscing with several employees who have been with the business for over 15 years.
We similarly enjoyed looking back at how our logo and brochures have changed over the years, with our oldest brochure dating back to around 2005.
However, this wasn’t our only anniversary this year. 2024 also saw us celebrate 10 years of being a Which? Trusted Trader in September. Achieving Which? Trusted Trader status requires a business to undergo an extensive assessment process to check that they are a trustworthy business and providing a high-quality product and service.
We are proud to have retained our Carbon Neutral Plus status, investing in verified carbon offsetting projects in Northern Uganda and Uruguay, in addition to funding the planting of several trees in Kenya.
We also continued to support a range of local and national charities, including the Alzheimer’s Society and The Listening Place.
