The Sash Window Workshop has been replacing timber windows and doors across London and Southern England since 1994.
We are a premium manufacturer and installer of traditional timber windows and doors. We have extensive experience working in conservation areas and can also comply to listed building requirements, where necessary.
Every traditional timber window and door is different, meaning we have to pay extraordinary attention to detail. All our new wood windows and doors are therefore bespoke and made to meet your individual requirements.

Energy Efficient Windows and Doors
All our windows and doors are manufactured in our workshops in Bracknell by our skilled craftsmen who utilise the latest technology to make high quality, timber windows to suit your home. Our windows and doors are fully factory finished, and double glazed and draught proofed to improve energy efficiency.
If you are unable to have standard double glazing due to planning restrictions, we can also install our heritage double glazing or manufacture single glazed windows and doors.

We offer a range of services including secondary glazing, installing new sashes into existing frames (replacing just the moving parts), draught sealing, and replacement windows and doors. We offer various new joinery products including complete new sash windows, casement windows, French doors, Front doors, Sliding doors and Bi-fold doors.

For new wooden sash windows, casement windows and doors we recommend using a timber called Accoya.
Accoya is a sustainably sourced modified wood, which is highly durable and comes with a 50 year anti-rot guarantee. The high durability means that it requires minimal maintenance compared to other timbers.
