We manufacture and install replacement wooden windows across London and the South. We also provide a supply-only service nationwide.
All our replacement timber casement windows are made in our manufacturing facilities in Bracknell, Berkshire. Depending on your requirements, we can replicate many different design configurations for wooden casement windows, including traditional and more modern designs.
Stormproof and Flush Casement Windows
We can manufacture and install a wide range of wooden casement window styles to suit your period property.
Timber flush casement windows are a more traditional design compared to stormproof casement windows. Flush casement windows sit flush within the frame, creating a flat surface on the outside.
In contrast, stormproof casement windows (sometimes referred to as lipped casement windows) overlap the window frame when closed.
We are also able to replace casement sashes (the moving parts of the timber casement window) if the frames are still in a good condition.

At The Sash Window Workshop, all our replacement timber windows are designed to add charm and character and be in keeping with your home while providing modern benefits such as double glazing and soundproofing.
We can manufacture casement windows to suit a range of period properties, including Edwardian, Victorian, and Georgian homes. Established in 1994, we have over 30 years experience working on period homes, including in Conservation Areas and listed buildings.
If your windows are in a good condition, we can repair the existing window by carrying out our draught proof and overhaul service.

We offer an installation service for new timber windows in the following counties:
London, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire, Essex, Kent, West Sussex, East Sussex, Bedfordshire, as well as parts of Gloucestershire.
If your property is outside our installation area, or if you already have a company to install the windows for you, we also offer a supply-only service for new joinery across Great Britain.
We offer double glazing as standard to improve energy efficiency. However, for listed buildings, we can also manufacture single-glazed casement windows (or heritage double glazing) when required.

Our replacement casement windows are manufactured in Accoya as standard. Accoya is a durable, sustainably sourced modified wood that comes with a 50-year anti-rot guarantee.
When required, we can also manufacture using other hardwood timbers.
When required, we can manufacture new casement windows to meet PAS 24 requirements and to be Doc Q compliant.
In addition to casement windows, we also offer other replacement products, including wooden sash windows and external timber doors, such as French doors, front doors, and sliding and bi-fold doors.
