NEW CASEMENT WINDOWS
The Sash Window Workshop has a wealth of experience in the manufacture and installation of timber casement windows, both traditional and more modern styles. Our replacement windows are designed to add charm and character and be in keeping with your home.
There are many different design configurations of casement windows that we are proud to be able to replicate depending on your bespoke requirements. We are currently working towards FSC certification so that all the timbers we offer will be sustainable and combined with workmanship carry a minimum 20 year warranty. We ensure that the materials are of the highest quality and our years of experience and knowledge ensure that we use only the best and most durable products. All new windows are manufactured at our workshop in Berkshire by our team of qualified joiners and conform where necessary to Building regulations and FENSA requirements.
GLASS
We have the knowledge and expertise to manufacture our double glazed units. New casement windows are glazed in accordance with Building regulations and the relevant BS standards (EN 1279) to offer the best in energy efficiency. We work with a variety of different glass types to suit your specific needs. Patterned, obscure, safety and laminate glass are just a few of the many types available.
Once manufactured and glazed your new casement window(s) are carefully painted. We are able to offer our standard white finish that consists of Basecoat primer / preservative, undercoat and topcoat white semi gloss, factory applied finish. If you require a bespoke paint or waxed hand coated finish we are able to do this also.
WINDOW FURNITURE
We supply and fit a standard range of window furniture, which is specially selected for being high quality, hard wearing and elegant. Our standard finishes are brass, polished chrome and brushed chrome but we can also source other patterns and finishes on request.
